Please Help If You Can!

I was wondering what stock 1/8 and/or 1/4 mile times are for the 89-93 Mustnags. I have a 90 GT Convertible and I wanted to have something to compare it too when I finally run it this spring. I figure the convertibles would be a little slower because they weigh more. So if you know stock times for them that would help too.

My '90GT (hatchback) ran 14.53@94+ the first time I ran it. I had a K&N filter and March street pullies, but it was pretty stock right down to the spare & jack in back. I think I was up around 3555# at that event. The droptop will be slower with its extra weight (everything else remaining the same). I was running on my stock Goodyear VR Gatorbacks when I ran those times. We were able to drop the ET a little by going to some Sportsman Pro tires.

My dad's 91GT with only 14* of timing and removed air silencer ran 14.60 at 94mph. Here is the exact run:
60': 2.217
330: 6.113
1/8: 9.407
mph: 74.47
1000: 12.223
1/4: 14.601
mph: 94.63
Make sure you have the above done (timing and silencer), remove the spare and jack, pump the front tires to 40lbs, drop the rear pressure to around 22lbs, and run with no more than an 1/8th tank of gas. the key to ET is to get your 60' as low as possible. You'll want to leave as hard as possible without spinning. It takes practice, and a lot of clutch slippage, but you can and should eventually get them down to the 2.09-2.1 range, but this won't be for a while I'd imagine. It took me months. Good luck. I'd imagine you'd turn a 14.8 at 92-93mph with some decent driving and good weather, assuming your elevation isn't very high.

Drag racing is really nothing new. I have raced my old Mustang quite a few times when I first got it. But now I have been racing imports and bikes. So getting a good start is something I know about, especially on a bike. I was just wondering it Ford or another consumer report company put out ET for Mustangs in those years.
