Good News for Igloo Racers
NHRA tech official informs me that they will lift the ban on rear mounted water reservoirs as of this weekend. The exact wording is not available yet, probably not until Friday.
The rear mounted water tanks will most likely be limited to 5 gallons, If everything goes as planned, these coolers will be permitted for Houston event. |

That post was from the April time frame and never came to pass. As of now (8/28) NHRA has still not made a decision. And I don't know who Jamie got his info from. Not me.
