SR questions
I was looking at the rules and it seems that there is now allowance for Carbed cars in SR. i was thinking of putting a B&M SC on my car and giving it a shot. Are carbed cars not allowed? And if not anyone know why?

S/R was designed for heavily moded, Late Model EFI street Mustangs. It's an EFI only class.

So are they gonna come up with a class for modified Carbed cars with a power adder? The obly class currently for us is Street outlaw or Pro and I dont have the money for that.

There is True Street, but power adders are not allowed in that class. Sorry there isn't a class for you with a power adder, but it would be impossible to make S/R fit everyone and still be as successful as it is. Right now it's a perfect fit for the majority of the heavily modified late model cars (which are EFI with NOS or a blower).

I don't race in True Street, but I'm positive that power adders are allowed. Willie Figuero (sp?) runs a truly awesome SN95 with a mondo blower and Igloo aftercooler. Its a totally awesome car to watch blast off really quick passes.

True Street allows a power adder .
Also with the current times in S/R you would really need to step up alot to compete in the class. |
