1st timer
I'm going to be trying my car on the 1/4 mile in April. I'm not too sre on tires. will 245-60-15 be a good size for street? I'm looking at a set of Dunlop GT Qualifiers.
What size bushings for stock control arms? I want to replace mine but don't know what size. Thanx ------------------ 82GT, TorkerII intake,Holley exhaust w/dumps,Hedmanheaders,carter600,88 block and T-5. Will post more when I find out more as I've had the car only two weeks. |

Those tires should work. Remember, on street radials, you will have to launch softly, or you will spin them.
If you're going to replace control arm bushings, you might want to consider upgrading from rubber to urethane. Energy Suspension and Prothane both make excellent replacements. They are application specific, so contact a speed shop and specify your make and model year. ------------------ Moxie Racing The Nitrous Oxide Information Site |
