Pro 5.0 Tube Chassis
Since we can all see how close to "real" Mustangs the Pro 5.0 guys have become. How long do you think it will be before we see 25C-1 Pro-Stock/Pro-Mod chassis in the shootout world? I was thinking about backhalving my car and then woke up. Why waste the time and money? My guess is that in about 2 years, the backhalves will be history as well as "stock location" strut towers. I think I'll put the money for the backhalf towards a Pro Mod chassis--much safer and faster. It's just a matter of time.

Well to be honest these cars already need to be 25-1C to be safe. By the end of the year if not sooner, i believe you willsee a 7.40 in Pro 5.0. Hell if things go right you will see a 7.60 or 7.50 this weekend in Houston. Back have cars will be obsolete if you want to be at the top of the class. Not because they don't work, they work very well. but Rules require the 25-1C.
