Think I can yank a tire?
I just installed Eibach drag springs, 90/10's, and already have 275/60/15 drag radials on Welds. I have run a bazillion 12.0's between 120 and 122 mph on regular radials before the drag radials, Welds, and suspension stuff. It is also a stick car.
I know it depends greatly on the track conditions, but does anyone thing a little daylight under a tire is possible? Or maybe someone has seen it happen with a similar combo? |

You should considering I have yanked both of mine in my torqueless 4.6. That was with front swaybar connected and lowering springs.
This was on ET Drags though, with 4.56 gears and launching at 7500 rpms. Later, Jason ------------------ N/A 1997 Cobra 1/8 mile - 7.83 @ 90.08 MPH 1/4 mile - 12.26 @ 114.02 MPH 1.64 60 ft. |

Rob, it would be tough for you to yank a tire with the drag radials on a stick car. I've come close, but no cigar. I'll be taking some weight off the front end & then we'll see.
The track would have to be stickier than a baby's full diaper on a hot day (you'll find out about that soon, heh heh). The nitrous radial tire racers that I know have done it with stick or automatics, but they're using progressive systems & coming out of the hole with 10 to 15 % & launching hard. ------------------ 91 coupe 3.73's,long tubes,2 1/2" exh, ported stock t-body,ProM-77mm cobra intake, edelbrock heads,B303,1.72 rr's 36lb inj's,tremec, & a Paxton NOVI 2000!!! 11.020 @128.95 on BFG Drag Radials (275/60/15) |

Yeah, I went to the ice rink, uhhh I meant the track. I got a whole slew of 2.2 60 ft. times.
