	I do not have a roll bar and so I will be using floor mount. RJS sold at Summit are a very good price and I am considering those. Anyone have any comments, opinions? 			 I've got the RJS and it works just fine.  I've got a tab welded to my rollbar though so I can't help you out with the floor mount type.  The lap belts attach to the stock locations and I used a j-clip to attach the submarine belt to the box-beam structure that the front seats bolt into.

	I believe you have to keep the stock belts in your car still, I have read it is against the law to remove the stock saftey belts on a street driven vehicle. 	NHRA rules state, "A quick release, 3-inch shoulder harness meeting SFI Spec 16.1 is mandatory in all cars in competition required by the rules to have a roll bar or a roll cage..." In other words you can put in a roll cage no matter how fast you are but if you need one because you're running fast enough to require one you must have the proper restraint. As far as I know most states require stock seat belts in street driven vehicles which could be a conflict.  |

			 Another thing you may take in consideration when you get your 5-point harness. If you go drag racing the tech. guy is going to check the date of the harness. You're harness is only good for 2 years past the date that is sewn on the webbing. So be prepared to buy them every 2 years. If you spend the money and get a Simpson harness at least you can send them in and get them recertified every 2 years. If you install them in your daily driver, race your car for 2 years and call it quits. Otherwise you'll be buying them every 2 years.

			 I thought the belts were good for 5 years? Does anyone know if you can send the others back to get re-certified like the Simpson? If not the extra $40.00 might be worth it for the Simpson, those camlock belts run $129.00 from RJS and $169.00 from Simpson.

			 Nope, every two years.  You can send them back to be recertified, but its usually not worth the effort.  The cheaper duck-bill style harnesses are nearly as cheap as the recert costs.  And there's always the chance that they won't recertify the belts because of wear defects. 	I'd just get the cheap duck-bill harness for $59 and plan on buying new ones every two years. 			 I just got my new duck bill style from my uncles company SRP for free.  Sorry to brag, but i love having family in the race buisness.  I'll check and see how much his run, and if i could get a discount for them.  BTW:  they are great quality, his main costomers are champion tunnel hull boat, and off shore cigarette racers.
