trans fried
well I've been having a lot of trouble with my trans and last night it finnaly went out. I was coming home from work when it got stuck in second gear. When I stoped at a stop sign the trans kicked down hard. As I went to pull away first pulled fine, but as soon as I hit second it was like I was in nutral. No power to the wheels. I make it to my g/f house by stoping, putting it in park and then puting it in drive and flooring it to get it to run first gear out then leting it cost awhile. Does any one know why it's doing this. I think it is my second gear clutches. A new trans is $1500 buck for my car so if I can't fix this I might be getting a new one.
