Default Top Truck results

Why aren't the Top Truck results posted along with the other classes. Also, why aren't the winners of classes like Quick Ford and Fast Ford posted. I just got back from Gainesville tonight and was looking at the past results and saw they aren't listed. I won the Top Truck class and my good friend won the Fast Ford event on Sat. night. We ran hard for two days and it would mean a great deal to us to get the recognition. It doesn't seem like it would be too much trouble. We had a GREAT time anyway and look forward to entering future events. Thanks- Randy Morrison

The reason I haven't put up the bracket classes or the Top Truck classes in most of the postings is that:

1] The program I wrote some time ago to run the entry and displaying of the results is not set-up to do those classes.

2] I do not always get the results for every single class that runs at the events from Bill. Mainly I get the main Fun Ford classes in the info he sends me. (i.e. True Street, brackets, etc.. Some times I do get the brackets, but refer back to #1).

The program is outdated as it is, since Bill change to the new ladder style for the results when he reports them. I need to re-code the program to do them on the site the same way. Unfortunately, due to time restraints, I may not get this done during the current season. It's something that probably won't get done and implemented until next season. Until then, I'm just putting up what I can based on what the program is current set-up to handle and from what he sends me.

But, I'll see what I can do for you guys - OK.

Thanks for your reply. I thought it may be something like that, the program thing. It would just be really neat to make the headlines here. It always seems like the bracket racers, especially us foot-brakers, get the smelly end of the stick at the bigger events. I know it was my 1st FFW event, but most of the other drivers in the TopTruck class were regulars and I'm sure alittle recognition, however small, would go a long way.
Also...Hats off to the guys running the show at the Gainesville FFW. It rained midday Sat. but they stuck it out and we got to finish all the events that evening. The officials were very helpful and professional. The only suggestion that I might add is to tech-in the drivers that arrived on Friday and if they like, allow them to pay to run a test-n-tune or a gamblers race that evening also.
Thanks! Randy- 1987Ranger;351W;11.69@112mph;street-legal!
