Post Trick Flow Street Heats

This might be old news, but in the new 5.0 they said that Trick Flow is bringing back the Street Heat heads. They are scheduled to be released in the fall and Fox Lake will be selling them.

Intake/Exhaust ports will be widened and shortened (Intake will use felpro 1262 gasket). The exhaust ports will also be raised.
Price = $849 bare castings

Are these heads worth waiting for or will they be too much for a street car?

I had the old ones, and loved them...I do like the TW's better though...with the Street Heat's you will need new headers.

Dustin- Were they Aluminum or Iron? If I remember correctly you could get them in both, but not positive on that.

Mine were the irons, but yes, you could get them in both.

What aspects of the TWs do you like over the SH? How much difference is there in power between the two heads?

The Street Heats have more porting capability because of the higher ports, but out of the box, the TW's make about 10 more hp. The TW's don't require new headers too.
