Doesn't a GT40 crate motor come with Crane 1.7 RR? If not, that is what I would get if you are going to stick with the stock cam. You will need Pedestal Mount with your heads.

Is the B-cam working good with the speed density? I was wondering if you got all the bugs worked out.

Later,

Well I haven't put these in the motor yet, so i can't tell you how they perform, but they are without a doubt the slickest, prettiest rockers i've ever had. I do hear good things about them too, thats why i picked them.

If you're staying with the B cam then stay with 1.7's. If you are going to switch your cam then go with 1.6's and a bigger cam. You'll have better valvetrain geometry.

The GT-40 crates that come straight from Ford come with standard rockers unless you request an upgrade. I thought they came with roller rockers too and was very dissapointed when I pulled my valve covers off.
