Who's going to FFW Cordova

Anyone going? I plan to be there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday...

Friday night is just a test and tune, with FFW starting Saturday. I don't fit into any class that I'd be competitive in, so I'll probably get involved in some bracket racing.

It'd be cool to say 'hey' to some of you... check out your ride and what not. This will be the first FFW event I've had my car at since '98... lookin forward to seeing a bunch of stangs in one place! I missed the WFC

Yep, we'll be there! Crewzin and I are gonna bring up our new pony to show. I wish my car would be ready but its just sitting collecting dust while the shop goes up. Its my birthday that weekend so we'll be partying and watching the races. See ya.

I'm going out Saturday afternoon to watch qualifying. Last year there were some good times ran on Saturday night!! Hopefully this Sunday turns out a little better than last years. It was a complete rainout.

Moline, IL ...my parents will be staying at a Hotel there, I'm going to rough it at the track with a couple friends. If you see my car holler at me... I'm sure I'll end up in some sand pit, I'm used to getting a good spot on the blacktop... don't see that happening this weekend

Yep, we'll be there. Should be there by about noon on Friday though I don't know if I'll run any test & tune. I had the car to Norwalk last Wednesday night and went 11.25, 11.25 and 11.23 in 3000' air so I guess its ready to go. Cordova's a hole, but the track hooks and runs quick.

Well, I didn't get to meet any of you... but I still had a good time! Attained a new, personal best ET and got some experience in the QF bracket class going 4 out of 7 rounds Sat. and 3 out of however many rounds they went Sun.

Was it hot enough for you guys on Sunday?

Again, congrats to Jeff Chambers!

I was only there from about 4 to 8:30 on saturday. We walked around and found your car, but you were not there. What the hell was that thing pulling your trailer?? hehehe....

I looked for Jeff too but I didnt see him until we were just pulling out. He must have been in the middle of his second qualifying pass when we got there. I dont see how else I could have missed his car, with a pit spot right next to the gate.. hehe

I was surprised at the low turnouts for the heads-up classes. It looked like the bracket guys had them outnumbered 5 or 6 to 1.
