i was up late last night and saw a tv show on this thing called the tornado. it fits in your intake and circulates air like a tornado does this thing really work. i was just wondering

No, at least not on an injected 5.0 the air has to travel a long distance and take many turns and gets divided in the intake, there is no way a swirling motion would make it into the combustion chamber. Check out this post.... and search Tornado in the forum because there are other posts on the subject.

its not worth anwhere nearwhat they claim it is. You might get 2 horsepower outta it. Your intake is swirled the same way the tornado is so your really already have a swirl effect going on. Its really just a big waste of money.
