Default Clutch Cable

Hi I Know Im In The Wrong Section But I'm New To This Site But I Have A Question About My 1987 For Mustang 5.0 My Clutch Cable Snaped On Me I Bought A New One Tryed To Install It But I'm Having A Hard Time It Wont Fit I Don't Know If The Cable Is To Small Or Not Or If I'm Doing Something Wrong If Someone Could Help With Am Idea That Would Be Great Thanks
