03 Cobra vs. Z28
Well thier is this guy in my area that wanted to race me with his 95 Z28.
Well we get on a three lane highway and we go from about a 20-25 mph roll. I let him hit it first so he takes off and I start pulling on him and Im about to shift into 3rd and I almost missed (little bit of grinding) But I didnt so I kept pulling on him little by little. When he shut down I was about a car ahead of him. Now check this out....you guys help me decide. We go in a gas station to talk, and he tells me he didnt spray at all. Well I donno for sure but kinda sounds like BS to me. It was too close of a race for him with 257 HP at the wheels to keep up with my 360 HP (est) without him using Naawwsss. Anyway it was a fun race TTYL

Thanx, Bob

You should have killed him but i have heard of some 03's running some questionable times.
Anyway if you want I have a C5 and would LOVE to give you a run. No bottle for me just a N/A 5.7 I can't find any 03's here yet and no other Vette guys have been so lucky as to run into an 03. I would be willing to Drive out there to race and even Bring a Friend along to Video it. Just let me know If you are up for it Just make sure you really want to do it because I don't want to drive all that way for nothing other then to see a big arch.

Don't the stock LT1 Z-28's run low 14's? I've never lost to a stock one, but have lost to a modded one at the track. He was pretty well modded though, and ran low 12's.

Yeah this guy said he ran in the high 12s all motor? And 12 flat with the spray. He has a full exaust system with long tube headers, o/r pipe, and flowmaster exaust, 3:73s, FIPK intake kit, N20, and few other mods.

At the track?
Can you arrange to race him at the track? That's where all BS stops. Same conditions, etc. And then there are time slips to record the results. IMHO, this is where the truth resides.
