Its Tonight!!!! ****!!!!!
The 440 GTX is ready to race me tonight. His motor is all back and done. It was only running on 7 cylinders before when it went 12.55@116.
Its supposed to go 11.7s on slicks now like it was supposed to before, according to the engine builder. I guess thats what you get for a 14,000 motor/trans. Anyways, Im tryin to frantically find out wtf is wrong w/ my nitrous system, and Im going to race him tonight on the slicks!! Wish me luck, cuz im gonna need a hurricane behind me to have a chance in ******* hell. AND YES IM GONNA TAPE IT. Skyler

Good luck dude. If that car went 116mph on 7-cylinders then I bet it'll go at least 118-120 with all 8 firing. Remember, there's no shame in losing to a car with $14K in motor alone, lol.

Oh man skyler! he is going to be running slicks?? get that nitrous working and run as much as u can. f.w.i.w my buddy runs mid 13's on motor and 11.3's on a 150 shot.
Are you running on the track or the street?? if at the track then maybe you can get a good holeshot and he'll have to run you down.

Sup all,
Sky, did the kid drive it to the 11.7? or was it someone else, if it wasn't him he will probally just sit there spinning if he has that kinda power, hes probally making 700-750HP if his car is full weight when he ran it so just be carefull and don't send a Rod through the block by running to big of a shot, i agree with Red514LX no shame in losing to a car that has $14,000 in engine and tranny Steven

Best of luck to you man, can't wait to see this on tape.
Just remember that you can save as much weight as possible by doing a few simple things. 1. Shave your leg hair (.01 oz) 2. Cut your finger and toe nails (.01 oz) 3. Don't wear a shirt (5-6 oz) 4. Take out your floor mats (3lbs) 5. Cut your hair (.01 oz) 6. Go to the bathroom before you race (4 fl oz) 7. Don't eat dinner (5oz) That's my prerace ritual. Good luck to you!

After mustangs i have a love for bigblock mopars, he may not be making 750hp, but 500hp to the wheels is'nt that hard to do with a 440 c.i. mechanical cam setup with ported heads and 950 dominator carb, and all the goodies, you are most likely gonna here that thing winding out loudly if it runs 11.70's, you can get him though, this is on the street right? show him how its gonna be

MY NITROUS SOLINOID IS PLUGGED!
I never put a filter before it (STUPID)! So my nitrous wouldnt work. I didnt want to take the chance running him w/ out the juice so I put it off till next week. He ended up running the 383 Elcamino that I raced and lost to 3 weeks before, and he lost also. I dont think hes car goes 11.7. It looks more like a mid 12 second car. Its a full weight GTX with a 440, Edelbrock heads/intake 850 carb, 10.5:1, 3:91 gears and the rest of the crap. Anyways, we did get a tape of him and the elcamino racing so I can post that if anyone wants to see. Skyler
