Question My car's depleted my funds for awhile - Make your guesses for my 1/8th mile ET!!

My car was ran for a best of 13.730 @ 101.6mph with a 2.3 60ft time. That was with one tire spinning off the line. It has since had a new King Cobra clutch, 3.73 gears (stock were 2.73's), and a rebuilt traction lock installed and it's now getting some serious posi.

What do you think it will run in the 1/8th? Closest guess wins! Friday is the day I find out. I'm taking it to a local strip for a couple quick passes just for sh!ts and giggles to see what it'll do on the short track.

This'll be the last time it sees a drag strip for quite awhile.

I was thinking about that Drew, but the only runs I made that day (maybe 6) I was shifting at 6000rpms so I never really got a good run in that day to see what I could do by trying different shifting points. You and Neil both shifted at 5000 and got into the 13's rather eaily. The tranny was too far gone to try it any more. Plus I have a buddy that I'm going to let drive it and he runs the 1/8th a lot. I figure I could at least have gone 13.8 in the quarter with a few more runs.

I'm using Mark's tranny so I gotta go easy on it so my times probably still won't be what they should be. And it's still running like crap, but that's just down low around idle. Once you give it gas all hell breaks loose LOL.

I have a T5 that I am borrowing from a friend right now and I'm saving for either a Tremec or World Class T5. I'm not real sure now about the World Class though. I heard from a guy last night that his friend has one and has had nothing but trouble with it.

I guess I'll decide when I get enough money saved.

The only thing that bothers me about going with a Tremec is having to get a new bell housing, quadrant, cable and clutch. I just bought this clutch and kinda like it.

I'm guessing my 60ft times will be somewhere around 1.85 or so. I'll be running street tires (Dunlops), but they hook up kinda good when they get warmed up.

I do have a question though...
I have the Koni adjustables. Both fronts and rears are 5 way adjustable. Where should I set these at for the best hookup? Do I want the front soft and the rear firm?

Thanks.

Sorry I haven't made it back here sooner. I didn't make it to the track Friday. I got sent to day shift Friday and I didn't get off until 9:00pm. Plus my electric fan quit working that morning and I figured out it's a wiring problem somewhere under the dash. Now my battery isn't charging so I have to get this figured out before I can take it too far from home. %$#@ car!
