12's Finally

Went to Cecil Co. Dragway last night. Good air 60's and low humidity. Finally got into the 12's. The car had the potential but I couldn't get it to hook. This time I roasted the BFG's 8-10 sec @ 6000 rpm engulfing the car in tire smoke . It was beautiful! The result was a 12.80 @108.13 w/1.80 60 ft. Yeah!

Great times AJSTANG. Were those BFG's drag radials? Tough to get street tires to hook like that (1.80/60 ft.). Anyway, congrats on the runs.

Rev: Thanks! They are drag radials. It appears that they stick better after a longer burn out.

AWESOME Did you get the roll bar in the vert? If not I guess you really need to now, that is a great time for a heavy vert.

Are you going to Cecil on the 22nd (this weekend) I am heading up hopefully to grab a 11 sec pass on my new 26" x 11.5" ET STREETS they should be here tomorrow, I think I have got most of the other bugs out. I do have a set of 30# injectors and 75mm TB coming but I am going wait till after the race to install them. Hopefully I'll see ya there!

Again Congrats! http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif

Congrats on the sweet time. I always wanted to run 12's, now I'm there, and now it seems slow. Now, all I want is 11's! This is quite a disease we all have http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif
