![]() Well me and my friends were just waiting for some prey and there wasn't a whole lot out at the time. Finally my friend noticed a guy he knew leaving the parking lot. He drives a 1999 Civic, SOHC motor running a turbo. Hell this car has the stock wheel covers on it. Sleeper for sure!
THE RACE: http://members.cox.net/whiskeyriver/Turbocivstang.mpg Sorry for the darkness. It was a lot brighter before I imported it. It was clear as day on the camera. I love night vision! Well I get one of my friends to ride with him so were evened out and to video it. Went from a 20 mph roll, I spun 1st through 2nd but it wasnt really that bad. Shut down at the top of 4th......This car is FAST for what its got I think (he runs 14.01@104!) I wish I would of powershifted and hooked up! I'll stop describing the race just watch the video! Pictures worth a 1000 words well a video is even better! p.s. How do guys like how my car sounds... I got Spintech Mufflers put on it, I really like them a lot! Later, Cameron

![]() Ahh I knew it was coming. I normally power shift.... I just couldn't hit my gears that night, my timing was just off, I'm sure we all have our bad days too.
![]() Yeah I had flowmasters on the car before the spintechs, but every one and thier brother has them on thier mustangs, for a good reason, they sound bad ***. I really like how these ones sound compared to flows... real different.

![]() Yep that was some pretty slow shifting. From a roll isnt your strong point with a 99mph trap speed. Go from a dead stop and you will rape his @ss.

![]() Sounds like you were shifting a grain truck rather than trying to race the guy
![]() ![]() Sounds like you've learned your lesson though... we've all been there at one point or another. Though I've never been spanked by an import (tee-hee-hee-hee) ![]() |

![]() I had a civic beat at the track in the 1/8th mile until he came storming up and ran a 13.8 at 104mph, but the guy had a supercharger/GSR engine, stripped car, etc. Those civics CAN be made fast, but all you need is $$$
