first of all the 2001 mustangs seem to be a bit quicker than the 2000s from my experience
i have a 1995 gt convertible automatic and i have ran a few 2000s 2001s and some older 5.0s in my opinion the 5.0 with those mods should beat the convertble by an inch maybe becuase of the 3.73 gears and that only. But it all depends on the drivers.
