240 SX Win
last night as i was going over to a friends house i found a early 90's 240sx at a stoplight so i followed him down to this stop sign where most of the racing takes place. I stoped ahead of him first and the fool would not even pull up next to me enough so i could see him. Well i was waiting for him when i hear his ricer muffler start to wind and as i hear him punch it i took off, at the end of first gear he was at my bummper, second about a car behind me and when i shifted into third and started pulling again he let off.

Me and TARZAN ran into a pretty quick turbo'ed 240SX in Bowling Green KY, when we were up there for Corral day 2003. It ran even with us. Will's car was probably a high 13 second car at that time.

NICE KILL! But, becareful with 240's. I have a freind with a SR20 motor swap and it runs pretty good (probably high 13's low 14's) and it is near stock, with upgrades it could make up to 450rwhp factor in a 2600lb car. Needless to say most don't ever take there mods to that level but they are capable of that (unlike many imports).

You might get 450hp at the crank out of an SR20DET motor if you build it to the hilt, but I'd like to see you make that at the wheels with the 2.0 liter. My buddy's Eclipse (2.0 liter also) ran 28psi of boost and he still only made 430 at the crank.
Also, unless you mod the Silvia turbo motor after the swap, they generally still only run high-13s to low-14s.

Hmmm... A kid around here still has the KA motor in his with a turbo kit and it runs high 13's and it is not anywhere near as capable as a SR20. I have heard of several SR20's that have made over 400rwhp (not been there first hand thought) I will let you know how my freinds turns out.
