![]() Im sure you wont be dissapointed, however you will need more tire, if you plan on racing other opponents.

![]() When I had my 3.73's installed it was one of the best upgrades I have done. You will launch faster and with more torque. If you don't know if you have crappy tires, you will soon find out! I My tires were almost brand new and all I do is spin now. My tires SUCK anyways!

![]() Well I have 3.55 so I would not have to much wheel spin with street tires!!! LOL lOL ALL i do it Brun the tires fishtail my way to 70MPH and stop spining at about 75MPH that is Way in to 3nd gear SO far before the heads My car Was faster by about 2-3sec in the 1/4 idle and about 1/2 the tires are cooking all ready. But I see you dont have as much power so it might be better I am getting MT ET streets Hope that fixes it!!!

![]() well, even with a stock motor (+ bolt ons) I cant get traction in first at all. Off the line I burn the tires going off Idle then punching it and even when I do get a good start the tires let loose at about 4600-4700 rpm. This happens with the drag radials at normal pressure (38#), with the tire pressure down (18#) and even (last night) with a 4 second burn out with the pressure at 18#, same results. And yes the tires still have life in them.
I had a launch where I bogged, then spun got, traction and then spun again at 4600+. Maybe I need to be easier on the trottle.

![]() I have 3.73 in my 1996 Cobra and with my old tires(dry rotted) I would fishtail granny shifting into second. But with my new Negotiatior tires, 245/45/17, I only bark them into second while speed shifting and the same into third. I haven't done a burnout(accidentally) while racing.

![]() well, unfortunatley, the rear end will not fit, so i will not be getting the gears, but supposedly ford did not offer an 8.8 in the 79 ltd. do any of you guys know how wide the stock rear end on my car would be?
thanks p.s. i talked to the guy, and he said it is freshly rebuilt, all reciepts, 31spline axels, new posi diff, new gears..... only $350, but its a shame it wont fit in my car ![]()
