Thumbs up

Hmmm. Yeah, good to see some decent pics of the car cleaned up. There are some shots I REALLY like. I STILL can't stand big circle inner lights in the grill and even though I like the interior as a whole, I don't like the guages. (If someone mods the car and puts in aftermarket guages, what guages would one buy that would even closely match the originals ? None. Ughhh )

My favorite pics are #s 1,4,5,8,9,10, with #5 being my favorite-- looks REALLY nice. The car has a lot of chararcter. As a whole, it is still inferior to the concept car, though....

Good pics. I don't like the grill lights either. Looks a little like a 3 series BMW from the side. I'm sure it will grow on us but is not a revolution and not as good as the last major change in 1999.

Nuh uhh, I never said I hated the concept car (I actually said I liked it), I just said I was tired of all the retro stuff (I dunno, maybe Ford's just running out of new ideas), but as a whole, I like the concept (I had just envisioned a totally different direction). Now the production car, stuff like the headlights (fog lights, really) compared to the concept car and the interior gauges that I've seen really turn me off. I'm still worried about the car, but I'm sure it'll grow on me just like every other Mustang ever made .

I like it right now. I can't imagine how much I will like it in a few months.

I want one. And the wife likes it a lot too. Which isn't a good thing, because then we would have to fight for driving time.

I think it is a awesome car. from reading what people have said on other forums i believe this may be the best selling mustang of all time, converting people who before would never consider a mustang.

It's one thing to draw on the past for inspiration........it's another to copy it.

Did Ford just fire all the good designers?

The auto shifter is hideous! I don't like the looks at all but then I didn't like the new ones at first either but they grew on me, especially the mineral grey ones. mmmm

*Sup Josh!

I don't like the design but I said the same thing about the 99's when they came out. I think it has to grow on me.

I feel bad for the poor soles who choose the red interior. In 10 years, they will be hunting for black pieces to do a swap like the fox guys are doing now

I love it and think all the retro stuff is cool. Now I can have a new one with a lot of the same styling cues as my old one, with the modern day tech. already in it. I never could justify having two stangs in the garage, but now I will have one of the 05's.

Ford must have done something right, cause my die-hard chevy buddy called me up at work the other night and asked if I had seen the 05 yet. Went on to say he wants one.....what??? you?? LONG LIVE THE MUSTANG!!!
Ryan
My only problem, is I want the same paint job as on my 65

Everyone should vote on the main page poll about the '05 Mustang

It's on the homepage.

Any 1/4 mile specs for the 05? Or HP & TQ? I love the new design. I personaly like it better than the 99-04 style.
