Nothing wrong with the GTS. It's basically a stripped down GT. Little lighter, and with racing stripes, but that's it. I can't remember what year they came out.

A GTS is a lot like the Fox bodied LXs. It's a GT without a spoiler, badging, some options, etc. Nothing wrong with them at all...they just don't look as cool IMO.

1984 1/2 GT350 (#842 Hatchback w/ T-tops), 302HO, Comp cams Xtreme Energy cam, Carter 625cfm carb, Weiand Stealth intake, MSD distributor, MSD coil, FMS 9mm wires, 1 5/8" MAC unequal shorties, 2 1/2" MAC Prochamber H-pipe, Flowmaster 2 chambers, KYBs, 16"x8" 4 lug Cobra Rs, Falken 245/45ZR16s

So I pushed it up to 110,
That flathead motor was about to give in,
I crossed my fingers and prayed to the lord,
Don't let me down you fuct up ford!"

The GTS was simliar to the 5.0 LX's. It had V-6 interior, no spoiler, power nothing. They were also lighter(about 300 pounds I think) They are pretty rare too, 1995 was the only year they were produced.

The '94 was the first year of the SN95 platform, so all the bugs aren't worked out yet. The '95 is also the last year of the 5.0.

Actually, they were produced in 1996 also, once again with limited numbers, albeit with the weak 4.6L SOHC.

OMG!!! are you sick Unit? i can't believe you don't know a Mustang trivia-type question

aonick, do you mean is the 4.6 GTS any faster than the 4.6GT? if so i havent a clue (probably not any more powerful, but lighter car)
but if your asking if the 1996 4.6 is faster than the 5.0, then no, not by a long shot (the 99-present on the other hand is a different story)
