RW HP??? If he said that he has any horsepower going to the back tires, please take pictures and post them here so I can see how he converted his car to RWD. There are only a few Honda engines that can have 400 NA horsepower and any of them require some major fabrication in order to fit inside a Civic.

Thumbs up

Possible if only a stripped race car.
I'm sure that was fwhp.

Not that smart of the Honda race scene, but trying to learn.

Something about that ... know thy enemy thing.

Any Honda V6 can make 400 NA horsepower, but putting it in a Civic would require so much fabrication, that it wouldn't be worth it....and then there is the issue of building the motor to get 400 NA horsepower. I am sure that the H22 can get a little more than 300 NA horsepower, 350 tops, but that is on the ragged edge and on race gas.

That would be between 180-250 hp/L depending on what motor he has. That would take just a bit of work....

Talking

He was a troll. Started out saying he could beat mustangs and cobras all day long.. bla bla bla. in his SI
Talk to him a little while longer and it turned into... when I get my and my friends...
So he was a typical ricer. Probably looking at a mag or something..
Thanks for the replies!!!

I have actually seen a RWD Civic in San Jose before, but it was a strip only car with a turbo Integra motor.
My friend said he has seen the guy run it up the street from the shop that tunes it, and that it can pull the front wheels from a stoplight.

"Any Honda V6 can make can make 400 NA horsepower", ha, ha, ha. Lucky to make 200 at the flywheel, and then with some work. Comic relief appreciated. We all love a Prelude... they tasre good.

Actually, the NSX makes 290, V6. The 3.2CL Type S makes 260, V6, and the Accord V6 makes 200. It wouldn't be easy, but I'm sure 400 isn't impossible. That's like saying a 5.0 can't make 500 NA. It ain't easy, but it can be done.

Rev seems to always try to prove me wrong...funny how he says ho hum about the 14.7 ITR video when he was one of the main ones saying that a ITR can't run faster than a low 15.
