Exclamation Z06 VETTE TRIED.

On my way home from work i see a vette comming up behind me fast. As it passes i notice that it is a Z06 Vette. I speed up to catch it and when i pull beside it i start to jump at him. He laughs at me !!!!!!! I slow down and he slows down. We are at about a 20 MPH roll, both get in it at the same time and he actually keeps up with me for a while. I only have him but a half of a car at 80 MPH so i deciden to end this and I spray him. I see the vette just get smaller in my rear view. I let out at 130 MPH. I had him by about 25 cars. He never got back next to me for another run. Those cars are actually pretty Quick. I LOVE N2O !!!!

Nice kill! I think I would sprayed him right away just to really embarrass him. That way he did not know you sprayed him. When you are side by side and then you take off it is kind of obvious.

I wish I could have seen the look on his face.

You might have seen this vette around. It is a very bright yellow. We raced right after the turn off onto 295 from 95 before the Buckman bridge. He turned off onto 17. I didnt spray him at first because i wanted to see what it could do. There not bad, but i still think i could have gotten him on motor to. You can tell it is a ZO6 from the little emblem on the side and that is it. Hard to tell from a regular vette.

I may have seen him, I don't know.

I tinted a blue vette today at work and it was nice. I don’t know if it was a c-5 or a z-06 but it was 2002 soft-top convertible with 6 speed trans.
Some older lady was driving it, what a waste.

***I had him by about 25 cars.

I doubt he was trying after you flew by him, I mean I know your faster, but 25 cars? Come on...Anyway...Good kill nonetheless. ;o) And it must have been a 385hp 01, cuz the new ones have a 405hp badge on them.

They don't produce a Z06 as a vert., only hardtops.

Nice kill, I have yet to race even a normal vette, or LS1 for that matter. However saying, " we both get in it at the same time and he actually keeps up with me for a while." when a Z06 even the older ie 2000 models trap 112-114mph I would think he shouldv't been pulling you after 80mph. But on the NOS..goodbye. Nice Kill, must have been a rush.

That is what i thought too. I figured that he would have pulled me by a car or 2. He probably doesnt know how to drive the car yet. He was old dude. Looked in his 60's. I know that the car is definately faster than mine on the motor. Im just gonna have to build me a 331. Then i think i will be ok without the nitrous.

The 385hp Z06 runs like a 12.6, and that was a magazine time too! So I think it was pretty evenly matched.

Yep, that's what I read (Motor Trend?) for the Z-06, about 12.7. Supposedly handles really well too and super good brakes. Sounds like a pretty sweet car in all truth. And the price is right for that level car, ($50,000?).

Nice run. Without spraying I'd say it would've been pretty even till 105-110, neither of you would've pulled on each other till then, but then I'd think he'd show you he was a Z06 from the looks of his round exhaust pipes

Vettes are pretty darn fast from mid to top end. He probaly would of got ya on the high end without nitrous. Nice kill.

No flames, but, 25 cars, you must have a separate solenoid for yourself, LOL. Anyway, good dustoff, remember when I did pretty much same thing to a ZR1 back in 93.
