![]() Sunny 75 degree day in Houston. I had been out cruising for almost an hour when I saw the yellow vert 5.0 Cobra behind me at the light. We were in the left lane. I started out just fast enough to get ahead of the other cars and pulled into the right lane and stayed at 20 so he could get up beside me. I new when we were even that we would go and sure enough we did. He got a slight jump of maybe a 1/4 car liength. We ran up to 60-70 before we had to let off due to traffic ahead. At that time we were dead even. There was quite a bit of traffic so We didn't try again. I waved and he just smiled back. Now this was a vert and there were two guys in the car, so I had some weight advantage. It was a good race. Just wish we could have done it from a standing start. First good run I've had in a while.
