Post 94-95 GT

Last night I was on the way home from playing pool with some friends. I noticed a sn95 GT in front of me so I tried to catch him. Eventually we were next to each other and he began to toy with me. The only other mustang I raced was a stock 92 GT. At first I didnt want to go, because I was sure the 5.0 would beat up on my 4.6. At the light he reved up so I said what the hell. He spun like hell in first so I took him on the jump. Id say by about 2 cars. From there on he stayed behind but there was no more gain or loss. We shut down around 90. Afterwards we went to Wendy's and talked. He said he had cold air, TB, MAF, and all the other minor bolt ons (including a mean sounding exhaust from MAC). The only thing he didnt have changed was his rearend. Is this the only reason I jumped him or are the two cars evenly matched? Sorry so long just excited to post my first kill.

Yea the low end on a 5.0 will spin the wheels good, but if a 4.6 gets the jump, whatever reason it be, he'll be gone, i beat 4.6's but up top they can real me in depending on the situation, good kill

Thumbs up

If I remember correctly, you have a 96GT right? Have you done anything to it yet? Supercharger maybe? A 94-95 5.0 should be able to hit a low 14 with those mods (properly driven of course) Good kill, you must have a pretty stout modular.

I just figured this signature thing out. My mods are listed. I am trying my best to stay away from NOS or a supercharger for now. Im young and need to keep enough money to the side for my car insurance and payment. Now I have to come up with 200 to pay my deductible. Someone hit my car in the parking lot and just left. Destroyed the front bumper and creased the driver side fender (both need to be replaced). On Monday I am out of commission for at least a week (according to the repair shop).

Stock 5.0 and SN95 is probably a close race with 5.0 on top.... put it up against the 4.6 2000 GT and it is not even close...

Thats was stupid. The '00 should win, but not by enough to say "not even close". It would 14.2s against 14.6s. Yeah, faster, but not to the point its pretending to be an LS1

Streetstang is right Liz, you are lucky to have a factory freak but average new GT's arent THAT much faster.
