97 Oldsmobile Aurora Thinks Hes Gonna Win From 50mph To 110.... What Do You Think???

I have a friend who thinks he will beat me in his olds aurora from 50-110mph, his car weighs like 2 tonnes(4000lbs), has 250hp, and 260tq. they do 0-60 under 9 seconds, i think it is 8.1seconds, but im not completly sure. anyone know what these things 1/4 in at?

what are the chances of him winning? id like to put money down, but if i will loose, i wont bet anything.

anywhere from 0-130mph will will kill him. From 50-110 ay least 8 car lengths IMO.

I drove an aurora and they are nice and ride smooth and have quite a bit of pep for a luxury car, but they are not "fast".

My truck weighs 3950 lbs has 270 HP 285 ft lbs of torque and runs a 16.4 in the 1/4.

car versus car. the stang will destroy the olds, and it wont even be a race. but, every race depends on the driver. if you can drive, or you like your chances. put your money on yourself and smoke him. good luck, and post the results. peace.

You're supposed to put the money down BEFORE you win or lose.
