Talking 99 Cobra spanks SS

Yeah, so I was cruising around in my 99 Cobra with the top down and just enjoying my car. I don't have the boost or fuel gauges yet and no exhaust work, so to the untrained ear, my car is stock. If you listen, though, you can hear the whistle of the Vortech, but no one seems to be listening . Anyway, it didn't take long for that SS with exhaust that was tormenting me before to find me. I think he recognized me, and in a stroke of luck, we get stopped at a stop light. The light turns green and I ***** up. The wheels spin and I'm going no where fast. Seems like an eternity! Anyway, when I get traction, I play catch up. Second gear at about ~4k rpm is when I really feel the boost. And right about then, I pull on him hard. I mean hard. Third gear I'm passed him, and fourth about three car lengths or so? (130mph-ish???) I didn't really check cause my car's steering wasn't responsive! I noticed that when the boost kicks in, the front end pulls up a little. I'm not saying I'm Vin Diesel in Fast and Furious, but it seems like my front wheels get off a little. After that, the SS turns and I had to pee really really bad. It was fun. I'm not joking about this, my car really does run fast, now all I have to do is control it .

I think it's time to invest in some slicks. Or drag radials at the least. 450rwhp must be quite fun

Vortech+4valve=dead LS1!
I remember riding shotgun in my friends 97 Vobra and having a z28 pull up and the driver was sure the Cobra was going to be his next meal, the snake bit him hard for that one, we had 3 cars after 2nd gear and the gap was growing exponentially! The guy was humiliated.
