supeg, no your not a newbie...your a TROLL!!!. You come on here flaming the hell out of a guy because he listed a K&N and Flows as mods. You need to lightin the hell up.
Oh about those track times you are DEAD wrong. If you think a 260hp Mustang GT 5-speed is gonna run a 14.5 your a frickin MORON. I mean, come on, a fox body runs a low-mid 14 with 225hp. You need to wake up and get a clue what your talking about. Have you ever even been to the track???(Playing GT3 doesn't count) I suggest you go, actully watch or hell maybe even fire up your Civic and make a few 17 second passes. Dude your getting you info from ads, are you brain dead? Hell if I went by ads my K&N would add 20hp A second gen Lightning runs a from a mid-13 with a good drive to a 14 flat with a not so good driver. So yes it your a killer driver you could take a lighting in mildly modded GT. Yes you can get 13's out off a PI GT 5-speed. I've seen many run in the 13's with mild mods (H-pipe). And I've seen a good number run high 13's with free mods and killer drivers. MustangMom2K has run a 13.94 in her mildy modded GT auto. Stoplight Warriors auto GT ran a 14.4 with a 2.3 60-foot when it was stock. Lizard king was ripping 13.77's in his stock 99 GT 5-speed. Need I go on or are you belittled enough already? Have a nice day

And why can't a K+N be considered a mod? Did cars come stock with K+N filters? I didnt think so. Sure it doesnt add much if anything but it isnt stock so that counts as a mod in my book.

Maybe you need a lesson in the Magic of Power/Weight ratio? Idiot. Maybe you can also tell me where I said a gt cannot do under 14.5 seconds stock? I said It will not hit 13's. Unless it is a Factory Freak you ****. Read my posts and comprehend you fuken moron. No, I do not go by adds in my info. It is common knowledge about the HP increases on Lightning by basic upgrades. Go do some reading then open your mouth ok? I posted the link to try to feed morons like you some info. I do not own a Civic, or any Import. What gives you that Idea. In fact I own Two fords. A 2001 Escape SUV and a 1973 Mustang Mach 1. Funny how fags like you think cause I say that the guy can expect his AUTO 1999 Mustang GT to run around 15 flat, that I hate Domestics? Jesus, Some of you really need lives, and should maybe visit other boards. Did he have a chance against a LIGHTING in a Stock 1999 AUTO GT. NONE, Not a chance in hell. |

Where do you get the idea that a 99+ GT auto runs a 15 flat? Do you live at 10K feet? Did you see some idiot spin the tires all the way down the track and run that? How did this dulision come to reside in your brain?

he MADE me do it! i was driving on a road when he saw me at an intersection . he turned the same way i was going when he saw me then and started to stalk me . he was giving me the Gas and pull-away , back and forth, so we first went at it from about 30mph , then we caught a redlight and went at it again , then i turned onto a highway and he STILL followed me on to it and waxed my *** up and down it. trust me..i didnt start with him , i just took the bait |

Of course you could use the arguement that he lives at higher attitude, but you should quote car as running "X" time because obviously it will artificially squew the times. And this guy is sticking to firmly to his "15.0" for me to think this. |

0h n0 5.0 not everything from SVT is the **** when it comes to speed. Focus and Contour.
The Lighting hauls *** for a 4500 truck, but it's not extra special fast(expectly off the line, they are the ***** to launch). I think I 99+ GT with mild mods could take one.
