almost hated to do it(almost)
 

i'm sitting at a light going out of town, when this gorgous 68 camaro rumbles up beside me, cammin' like a prostocker. he glances at me and throws a rev. i slip it into 1st and wait for the light. he eases off a little and i here the exhaust roar and i kill it.
at 10 ft i already have a fender on him and when i pull a full bore ripper shift for second i start to walk away fairly easily. i grabbed third and wound it out about half way and started slowing down. he pulled back up to my window and said "nice". i said "that car is sweet". he nodded and waved and pulled on away as my exit was coming up. man i always get so hyped up after a race. i usually shake for about 30minutes.

Nice Race. Boy I just love winter :rolleyes: These stories are wetting my appetite...spring can't come soon enough.

BTW: Nice kill I raced a Chevelle last weekend that sounded mean but unfortunately he smoked my @ss.:o

no kidding guys, stock right down to the paper air filter element. i always leave about 26psi in the rear tires to help me and my spasmotic clutch foot. this car went 13.23-13.14-13.08-and finally a 12.97 all on the same night. its the only time the car has been to the track because it was the end of the season. i have done some "free mods" to it now and it seems even stronger. also it only had 1100 miles on it then and its getting a little more broken in now. (its got 2100 miles now) i want nitrous bad!!!! it will probably be about the only mojor thing i will do to it. i think with a 150 wet shot and some bfg drag radials, that i may see some high 11's. (i'd be satisfied with 11.999999999999.)

Well that is a damn good ET for any "stock" vehicle.
