Default were there any 85-92 Cobras made?

I was wondering why the 93 Cobra is so rare. Where there any Cobras made from 85- 92? I guess if there weren't any made that would explain why the 93 Cobra is so rare. Thanks, Keith

No true SVT cobras were made until 93' the 93 cobra R is really rare the 93' cobra isnt that rare. There were some canadian stangs tagged as cobras before 93 but that was BS.

LOL, yep us dam Canadians. You will find GT's with cobra badges on them from Canada. Purely a marketing thing, there was no performance difference between a "Canadian Cobra" and a GT of the same year.

I think as a promotion in '86 as well there was a "King Cobra" marketed by Anheiser-Busch (you can see it on the Mustang GT registry gallery), but other than that it's just like everyone stated. Plus that's not a true cobra because it wasn't made by ford like that and it was still a GT behind the paint.
