Post 347 stroker kill !!

I was on my way home from work when I see a very very nice looking foxbody gt, blue with silver ground effects, lowered, chrome rims, cobra tail lights. I actually heard it before I saw it, I was three cars behind it at the light and when he got on the gas at the light I thought there where 2 cars ahead with loud exhaust racing but it was just him! Anyway we play around a little bit revving at each other because there is traffic in front of us. Finally we get to an open stretch of road, we are going about 45 and I downshift first and pull about a car before I hear him hit it and he goes flying by me, sounding completely bada&& and loud as hell. He is pulling me like I am in reverse, I look down at my speedo and tach to make sure my car is still running. He had at least 8-10 cars by 80. I am wondering what the hell is wrong with my car or if his car is really that fast. We get to a light and he has a big grin on his face. I ask him what he has and he says 347 stroker(ahhh I don't feel so bad anymore), he said it runs 11.90 all motor and 11.0 with some spray. Light turns green we both roll off the start and hit it, I actually stay only 2 cars behind through 1st(i'm not sure if he was actually on it all the way but his exhaust got louder) but then he starts pulling like mad again and turns off and waves. Very very nice car, I would kill to have it. I NEED MORE MODS!!! Oh and yes I know this wasn't a kill for me but it was a kill for him.

Awesome story! As you found out, 347s, when setup properly, run really well on the motor. If you're going to get killed by something, that's the kind of car you want to get killed by!! hehehe

I like 347s but, if it were me, I'd have a 372c.i.

Oh gee thanks. Now you got me wanting a 347 stroker combo instead of a rebuilt 302 & blower. Lol, I need to make up my freakin mind. Sounds like a nice car FivepointOH, I definately wouldn't feel bad for getting beat by him.

I've pretty much committed to building one myself. I was gonna go the 331 route but PHUCK it, I want the cubes.
