I think they are sharp looking little vehicles. I would really like to get one but when I looked at one they wanted around 15,000 for it so I said no thanks..

Hey Derek- Was the Stang a total loss?
I like your Stang better, but the Syclone is nice too. Have you seen any Syclones for sale? I have no idea what there selling for, but I wouldn't buy one for $15K. A few more bucks and you could get a 96-97 Cobra. No offence to some of the GM guys on here but spinemup I would advise against buying a GM product. My wife and I thought that when we bought her cavalier, lots of them on the road, they must be good, blah blah, and the car has given us tons of headaches (same stories with her parents, sister and 2 ex-co-workers, that's just too many people having problems with GM's products for me).
It might go fast and haul stuff, but that's only when it's running... ------------------ Driving: 1998 F-150 Far way in Edmonton==> 1995 Mustang GT |

I thought those things had 3.8L motors in them - should be the same as a Grand National.
They are pretty cool. I have not seen one in good shape around here for years, so that may mean that they are a total hunk of crapmeat. As far as hauling things, they don't really haul anything except a$$ - I think the max payload is 500lb., so you could put a motor or tranny in it I guess. they don't have a 3.8 they have a 4.3. But it's the same turbo as a grand nationl. I like them I say get it, up the boost, do exhaust work, and all the usual stuff and haul A$$.

blue00gt is right, they are quick but you can't haul squat with them. Have no idea why GM decided to make a "sports truck" that can't be used as a truck. If it were me, i would rather have a slightly used ('96-'98) Cobra or perhaps a used Lightning. A '93-'95 Lightning with some decent gears will run about as quick as a Syclone and will still be able to haul and tow things. Just my $.02. Good luck.
