Try Me: Thanks brother! I think most people ask me because of the god-awful rumble from the pipes! You got any pics of your ride?

I get it all the time!..
So what our family owns a tire/auto shop! they think ya get tires for free!!!!! oh well I usually just give it a little bit just enough to get a haze, oh well a few little spins of your tire is only a small small portion instead of doin a john force burn out just do a few small 1's or get a pair of burn off tires, then ya take off the line in a cloud of smoke well the big block is rumbling, oh yea ya wonder where ure old tires go.. ya see that smoke..hehe... It works tho if you goto a tire shop and see if they have burn off tires they usually give em away for really cheap or if ya get new tires they can usually give ya a pair of burn off tires if yours are right toast but thats the advantages of buying from someone local instead of off the net.

Wink

I like to walk softly and carry a big stick. So when they ask what's done to the car, I just tell them there's a hole in muffler.

Sac68, I only went to crafton once. I went with my friend who has a red 2000 SS. You have probably seen him up there because he used to go all the time. It sucks now because we have to deal with the pittsburgh weather but oh well. Maybe i'll see you up there in the spring...or on the road this winter.

If I am at a light or anywhere in my car, I just wave the 2 tickets I keep in my car that I got for speeding/excessive speed and say "Sorry, but I can't afford it right now."

My car is fairly clean from the outside and idles real nice so i get a lot of yells and requests for smoke so i usually take off and get up to about 10 after the clutch is out and just punch it and let the tires scheech to let 'em know that i have power to back up the look. ( I live in typcical white suburbia and have little else to do than go racing on a friday night)

I think that the moral of this story is that it all depends on the wether the driver is competent at all, he very well could be telling the truth and just ran into some person who couldnt drive (woman) :-)
In my town there is a Roush that has a Vortec on it and supposedly it puts out about 500hp, everyone had checked it out at the local specialty car dealer. Well it got sold to a 16 year old girl at my highschool who couldnt drive a stick!!! It was a so clean and i knew she would ruin it. And one night i pulled up next to her at a stop sign and proceeded to smoke her very badly out of 3 consecutive signs. It was a shame. It has now since had the supercharger cracked and the skirts broken on one side and is up for sale.

I know what yall mean, Iam 16 and just got a 93 Cobra on the 21st, so on Christmas night my uncle asks me to take him for a ride (mind you, i only have a permit) so i oblige to give him some excitement. After about 5 minutes of driving through the neighborhood at normal speeds, he asks me to get into it a little bit, so since there was nobody around, I lit em up in first, dropped it into second, and backed off at about 40. Glad we didn't get caught and he didn't tell my parents.

16 years old and driving a 93 Cobra.

When I was 16, I had to ride with my dad everywhere in his broke down Vega. I was happy if I could drive around a Food Lion parking lot in it before he finished buying groceries without gettin caught (he caught me one time and was pissed off).

Dude, you better take care of that car.

Don't worry about the car, it will be better taken care of than anything i own (isn't that how everybody treats their 5.0?) Anyway, you will probably get a kick out of this. On Christmas morning, I am taking one of my uncles for a ride when two hot girls in a 97 V6 Mustang blow by me, so at the next light I rev it up as they check out the car, but as the light turns green I stall the car. They were laughing when I caught up with them...my moment of glory turned into the most embarrasing moment of my life.

I'm only 16 too. There are only 2 people I listen to when they tell me to rod my car--1. The guy I bought my car from. He's awesome. He's like 27 and is the funniest person I know. And #2 is my girlfriend. But she just likes it more when I put it in neutral and rev it up than when I roach them at a light. My car is really freaking loud though, with headers and glasspacks and no other restrictions, so I'm afraid to rod my car a lot because I'll either get reported to the police or the police will hear me and come get me. And the police in my town are all d!cks and try to stare me down when I go by them. I just smile right back at them. It's fun. Ok, I'm done now.

LOL , 93SVTstang. Learning the hard way can really suck sometimes, but most likely, that won't ever happen again!

Geez dude, how did you stall a 245hp 5.0 V8?? Keep out of trouble... when i was 16 i had just put in a 285hp 306ci that i now have modded to 345hp - anyways, i ended up smashing the corner of a fender in a ditch cause i was lighting it up til third gear... those stationary objects sure come up on you quick at 60 have fun and make sure you don't end up smashing it up; that's one awesome first car!!
