Unhappy anyone want to see me lose to a audi turbo s4

http://www.ls1.com/ls1forum/ls1_forum_main.htm

go to "the one that didn't get away" forum
then go to "socal members have a lil fun"/thread. and click on 96gt vs audi.

hopefully that will link you to it. it was a 2.7L turbo all wheel drive. that all wheel drive can launch! I started catching him right at the end but a car pulled out in front of us and we slowed down it was fun and we are going to have a rematch in a few weeks! so it should be fun!
I did beat a 99 ls1 firebird pretty good that night so that was cool. I hooked good and the ls1 went up in smoke so we are going to have a rematch on that one too!
Leon

sorry so complicated to get a link, if someone knows an easier way it would be appreciated!

Like the voice in the background said, "damn, that mustang was quick!?!"
I guess all 96-98 2V's are supposed to be slow. Hehe, can't wait for my headswap come spring!!!
You were pulling him in pretty good on the top end. Great job. We all know its hard to compete w/ AWD and TT's on the street. You made it look good though. Get'em next time.

hmm, i seen an audi tt at the track running 14.9-15.5's, im not impressed with it, although, i guess with its weight, it pulls pretty good.

A guy with a new WS6 here locally posted a loss on www.camaroz28.com about losing to an Audi. From a dead dig, with an A4!!!

he has an exhaust and a chip done to his audi. he said it was good for another 50hp, he also said it runs low 14's at lacr? i was only in 4th gear for a couple seconds when that car pulled in front of us! I'm sure i would have passed him if we would have ran a whole 1/4 mile but oh well, he won. I'm putting my cams in this weekend and then we are going for a rematch so I'll try and get someone to video it

He was Bull Sh*ting you. They run low 14's stock. With a chip and exhaust, they should pull mid-low 13's.
But thats all the better because you were pulling him in hard.

Audi makes some stout cars.

Check out the RS4. Looks kinda like an S4, but "squattier" and more aggressive.

Oh yeah, and it boasts 380 bhp out of a 2.7L turbo V-6 with all wheel drive. It'll run somewhere around 13.1 @ 108 and gets to 100 in 11.1 seconds. It's limited at 155 mph, though. 60 mph comes in 4.9 and it will reverse that in 119 feet.

I'd really really really like one.

$65,000.

Cha-Ching!

No, I hate fast station wagons .

$65,000, I'll take the Cobra R and spend the other 5 grand on a turbo .
