Cool Looking for that AWESOME sound!!!!

I am looking to get that awesome mustang sound that you can always tell as soon as you hear it. I have been told that getting Flowmasters welded to the existing pipes is the best way unless you want added performance. Any suggestions?

you really want to sound good, you should go ahead and do the complete exhaust. headers, x-pipes(huge difference if you get them with no catalytics),and flowmasters.....i have pretty much this setup, it made a huge difference.

If you just want a nice, mean, respectable tone, most aftermarket systems will be fine. For example, on my 2000 GT, I have the magnaflow mufflers welded into stock pipes, and a bassani X-pipe w/cats. It sounds REALLY nice. Not too loud, just a deep tone.

Even if you just shell out ~$200 to get some 2 chamber flows welded into your stock pipes, your car will sound really good! But loud!

If you want that deep mustang sound i would go with a Dr. Gas X pipe and some 2 chamber flowmasters....they sound great on modular motors!
