You know I will wish you all the best. It seems like you can drive so it will be interesting to see what you will do. With those mods you will do i would guess around what 320-330 rwhp? It can be done i think. Oh--you forgot to mention that I still have stock tuning, stock stall, nittos, full weight to run 11.9s @ 117 (best mph 117.95). |
Skyman- Go to Anythingcars.com and talk to "Joe Lynch", that is his screen name.
He has a 99 cobra and he dynos 366 RWHP and has a live axle with 4.56 gears etc.. He runs 10's @128mph on a 150 shot and around a 12 flat off the bottle. He cuts 1.43 60ft's all day long. If you talk to him I know he can help you out with some advice. He is a cool guy I met him once at the track. He has been in a 5.0 mag and everything. |

Heres a video of his 11.17 @120mph run. Oh yeah I forgot to mention his car is a convertible.
Check it out.............He is alot faster than this now this is an old video:cool: |
Thanks guys, Yeah I am familar w/ them both. Talked to bob a bit about his car. Pretty much doing mine up like his, but a little milder for a street application.
Will be looking for around 320rwhp. Lightened the car up w/ the solid rear, recaros, dynabatt, fiberglass hood, and tublar front end soon. Shooting for high 11's around 112 ish. SKyler |

Sounds great, Sky. Are you planning on running lightweight rims too? Good luck, E |
Im going to try and manage on the 17x9 konig villians I have, I dont want to run a 15" rim and w/ the brembo brakes I have, I dont know of anything that would clear them.
|
Front skinnys will clear with spacers in the front fwiw. Sounds like a fun combo be sure to keep us up to date.
|
brembos? They are huge!
|
I am almost positive the spacers move it so the lip of the rim is outside the caliper so it can rub even though the caliper is even with the rim.
|
No kill stories for me. Hard to race when their is snow on the ground!:p Besides, I really dont street race. The only thing new with my car is an 01 Cobra rear suspension with 4.10's. I should have pics. I was told it bolts right in.
