Here's a breakdown of cost:

Car was $3000...Came with Carbon Fiber hood, Integra wheels, Integra Type R seats (Leather) and a SOHC motor. Also came with A/C.

I bought a B20 motor which is from a CRV for $800 and took it apart. It cost me $800 for rods and pistons with new rings, bearings and seals which I installed in 1 day. I bought an almost new Integra Type R head and Toda Spec C Cams and brought it to be worked and Have the Cams, valvesprings and retainers installed. I purchased and installed the Hondata engine management system myself for $1100....it wasn't easy. The car had an exhaust already and I just got a Cold Air intake, JDM Header and a Skunk 2 intake manifold. The intake manifold feels like it actually takes low end power away from the car as opposed to the ITR manifold. I ran the car for the first time on street tires and stock suspension and ran an unbeilievable 12.8@113. I bought a tein coilover set for $800 used and some brand new slicks on spare GSR wheels and ran a 12.01@118, Tires and suspension gave me 8 tenths and 5 mph. All I did was modify the rev limiter and make it run slightly leaner and I ran the 11.76@119. I haven't ran since last season and I am thinking about selling. I have about $9000 into the car including the price of the car. I can put the A/C back in and get rear leather seats...but that would slow me down. I have as much a warranty a Cobra owner would have with these mods and I can install leather seats in the rear...but I don't have many friends and again that would slow me down. I have a 2003 Hyundai to commute in, no leather but it's got the best warranty in the world and A/C.
