Beat a chevy with an LT-1

There is a guy in my town that has a 95 chevy shortwide p/u that has a modded LT-1 350 out of a Z-28 camaro, well im driving through town actually going to the store to buy milk, not even looking for a race when he pulls up beside me and kinda revs the engine, well i drop the stang into 1st and wait on green. I got a hard launch and beat him by like 4-6 car lengths, i didnt really get on it too hard, but i was pretty pleased considering the guy has spend a crap load of cash on the engine and i only paid 3400 for my car as it is.

Good Kill, nothing is better than beating a guy who spent too much money on his ride. Ha, Ha, Ha! Why didn't he put in an LS1 motor?

In all actuallity ive asked myself that. you would think that if you were gonna pull the engine and spend the cash to get an LT-1 might as well put down the rest and get the LS-1 but hey im not gonna argue with him, hes the one that spent WAY too much money for the buildup of a conversion truck, but oh well his problem, not mine http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif
