Boost and spray together????
Has anyone done this? I was thinking of keeping my dry kit and jetting it down to a 50 shot. I think it could work o.k. if I eliminated the FMU for my blower, went with 42 lb injectors, and ran the small dry shot. I think an FMU and the dry kit trying to work on the fuel pressure regulator might cause me some headaches.
I think the small shot would have a nice intercooling effect. I just hope that 10 to 12 psi and a 50 shot will not kill my motor. |

I think it'd work fine if you did it like that. But why not just add more boost? More HP always kills motors, I don't think its how you do it, just how much hp it is and how its tuned.

I don't really want to spin the Novi 1000 too high. It uses the factory 6 rib serpentine system, and I imagine at more than 10 psi I would be dealing with some major belt slippage problems. And I already have the nitrous kit installed. Although a friend of mine wants my nitrous kit now.

From what I heard the Novi 1000 is good to 14-15psi, but thats probably pushing it as you said.
I toyed around with the same idea, as these Novi 1000's are so cheap now well under 1700bux. Or just sellin the nitrous. Im interested to see how it works for you. Skyler

I imagine 14 or 15 psi on a stock 302. A built 302 like mine might only see 10-12 psi.
BTW, your new combo is the same as mine! E-303 w/1.72's Systemax II TFS with mild work equal shorties H-pipe/2-ch. cat back T-5 30 lb. injectors Pro M 75 31 splined 3.73'd 8.8 Pretty close eh??? |

People who use N20 and boost at the same time usually use the Nitrous like an intercooler to lower intake temps. I've heard of people running 25-50shots. I don't know anymore than that though.

Yeah Id be looking what all the good running cars seem to have, and this was the easier and best I could do to my setup. Ill just be running 24lb injectors, 70mm tb, 73mm maf, but I still have all the accessories, so hopefully it will go over 110.
