Default Good News.Bad News and a solution

Well saturday I ran a new best 12.53@107mph on a shutdown run,the bad news is the oil pump broke and I thought i shut the motor down in time,we pulled the pan off today and the bearings are wiped.....the good news there is I have a backup motor and when the eagle H beams come in Wed. we will put it together and drop her in,this one is bored .40 over and should have a little more muscle that the stock one had....kinda bummed about losing the old motor but with well over 300 passes on her.....she did a good job. We were able to save 99% of all the bolt on's to use on the new motor AND i get to detail the engine compartment so all is well.

Sounds like it'll work out pretty good. You should post some pics of the motor buildup/installation

Damn that sucks, but it's okay in the end I guess.
And I wouldn't mind seeing some pics either.

Sorry to hear about that. At least you can see the positive in the situation, cause i sure wouldn't
...just kidding, it doesn't sound that bad and although it will set you back some bucks you did get your use out of that engine.
