Calling out Skyman! Was that you on the 101?
 

I went to LACR today (Saturday) and on the way home between Camarillo and Oxnard on the 101 headed west I see a red fox-body Saleen. The guy driving kinda looked like you (I've never met you but I've seen your picture you had in your avatar. He pulled up next to me and we slowed down and then I hit it in 2nd gear and pulled away pretty quickly. I'm not sure if the Saleen even floored it. If that was you then I'm sure you didn't floor it because I know your car is way faster than mine. By the way, I ran a 14.24 at 98mph with a 2.244 60'. Not bad for balding 225/50/ZR16 Dunlop's and at 2800' elevation.

Damn you ran 98mph at palmdale thats good man you got a realy 104mph car on your hands there, thats quick for a vert. Mine isn't running like it should ever since I put the cat h-pipe on. Sorry I didn't get back to you on Saturday. I had a feeling that was you, not too many Saleen's running around.
I have an AOD and with 3.73's I can go approx 75 mph before shifting into 3rd. We were going about 60mph when I hit it, right at the sweet spot. I tried to signal you to get off at Johnson drive but you kept going. Oh well, we will have to meet up and go to the track or street races sometime. Let me know.

Skyman and LfiveohX have you ever been Up to Santa Maria/Paso for the races?

Which car was yours? I was out there with my '92 GT and bunch of lightnings. Car wasn't running well at all, turns out my computer got reprogrammed... yucky! Oh well. How many runs did you get in? We only got about 3. I think Dale got 4 but he stayed longer I headed back around 2pm

I only got in 2 runs also,
14.26 and a 14.24. I left at about 2:00pm also. We were hungry!
Dale's Lightning went 13.3! I think he went to Carlsbad today (Saturday) unless it rained down there. I will call him monday and see what he did down there.

I wondered where you went that day! Had you put "Adam" at the bottom I would have known it was you. Yeah, it was a slow day, I was getting so tired and sick of being wind-blown! As far as I know Dale went down to Carlsbad. I was supposed to go, but thought my cousin was coming out today. Oh well, next time! I just emailed him a little while ago to find out what he ran.
