Carlsbad raceway on Saturday anyone?

This is not a flame or war. There is a couple guys on here that are local to this track. Just letting them know I'm heading out for some fun on Saturday

I'm taking my car out, first time in like 3 months to the track. I said I wasn't going to go until my buddy got his 64 falcon running again.

If your a Ford nut you have to see this car. Little 289 with a cam and an edlebrock top end. First time out on his new slicks and skinnies. Watch this 289 do high 12's in the quarter. No really, I guarantee it! It has no exhaust and its gutted but its still cool. Just a 289

I phucking hate my job. I have to work tomorrow. I thought I went to college so I wouldn't have to put up with this working on the weekends bullshit anymore.

Had a great time. It was cool out with no sun all day. The little Falcon ran good. His best was 12.71 @ 107.50. I think it will get better with some tuning and him getting use to his new slicks.

There was a Nissan Skyline there running 12 flat on street tires (all wheel drive).

New best for me off the bottle. 12.62 @ 109.46. I still lost to the Falcon 2 out of 3.

I think we are goin again on the 26th.

Hey i should get the boys together and head on up to Carlsbad seeing how im in chula area.

Next time your at the track and a flight of mustangs go by you, you'll know its me and the boys...

It'll be November before I get back down there, but I'm going with a friend who just bought a WRX wagon. He wants to run, and I figure it will be close since he doesn't have the ballsac to drop his clutch up in the 5k+ range.

That and if he did, C-bad is so bad he'll spin anyway.
