If the pump had 150K miles on it, that is probably why it died! It's a miracle it lasted that long! I would probably stick with a stock one as well. jmo. I'm sure you can just replace the pump and shaft! when you pull the oil pan just check for contaminates laying on the bottom of the pan! good luck sky!
