I've been wanting to run against a 99+ GT in my old 64 1/2. I'm curious to see how it would do. I think at least to 60 I would have it beat. After that it would be all Mod motor.
If I put a T-5 and 3.73 in the rear, then that might be a diffrent story. Other cars I want to run. This is in my 2000 99 Cobra BMW M3 S2000 98 Cobra (with a good driver, unlike the guy I know who had one) ------------------ 64 1/2 "D" code Red Mustang Coupe. 289, C4, Mallory duel point. And to many others to list 2000 Perf Red Mustang GT. 5spd. BBK Underdrive pulleys, Flotech off-road H pipe. Hurst T-Handle, 40 series Flowmasters, Steeda Tri-Ax 64 1/2 red 6cyl coupe. |

A lot of you are saying that you would like to race an S2000. I have lined up with a few of them at stoplights and on two lane winding roads, and none of them would race when I revved on them. Unfortunately, even if they would race from a stop, unless they are willing to really punish their clutch out of the hole, a well-driven Stang will pull them hard off the line and they will probably give up.

Had a kid in an older el camino wus out on me last night. Wouldn't even look me in the eye with that big bad comp cams window sticker in his back window. Chicken ****, I'm looking for him. Guess after him any ricer will do, its hard to get anyone around here to play, even with a basically stock GT.

My '95 Cobra is basically stock so i don't expect it to take on anybody with superchargers and stuff like that. all i want out of it is to whoop up on ricers and z28's. A k&n filter gives me 15-20 more hp and a larger fuel pump gave me maybe 5. that's all i've done to it besides Cobra R wheels and brand new Bilstin shocks and struts.

I may be getting a fuelie 5.0L mustang GT (i think it's an '89 but i'm probably wrong) already with quite a few mods soon, but with either car i'd own (fuelie or my 'ol '84) here's my list:
Turbo ricer (anything from a civic to a supra) Any Saleen, Roush, Kenny Brown, etc. tuner mustang A "classic" mustang from '65 to '70 with at least a 289 and dual exhaust just (just for the experience of racing a classic stang) any camaro or corvette...hell any chevy for that matter *i'd probably get my @ss waxed by most of these cars, but these are the cars i want to at least race. ------------------ '84 Mustang 5.0 LX My car |

My hit list is mostly people around here who I know, I mostly want to shut them up when they talk their horsepower #'s and claim they've beat me when we've never even lined them up before. I wouldn't miss a chance to run just about anything as long as they'll go with me to a safer place to do it.
