![]() I was on my way home from my girlfriend's house a few nights ago when I come up on a new Celica. He had a wing on the back and some stickers, one on the back "Team Lutem" I didn't see or hear a fart can though. So as a roll by him I looked over then looked back to the road as we were on a ramp connecting two hiways(294 south-I88 west).Theres construction all over the Chicago area and I-88 is not excluded, just after the ramp there's a split where they're working on one of the center lanes. I'm crusing along minding my own business when the Celica cuts me off just before the lanes split. That got me a little reved up so I dropped down to 4th gear and got up behind him pretty close. There were a couple of cars coming up in front of us so I backed off(Rules of Engagement)He sped off up to the toll booth. I went through the I-Pass lane as he was about to toss his change in the basket.
I kept an eye on my rear view mirror to make sure he didn't try to do a fly-by. As he leave the toll booth I saw his headlights disapear, he had droped his headlights and turned on some kind of bright LED's. He started to gain on me pretty quickly but I was ready for him, I droped back down to 4th gear again. He came up on me and tried to pass me but I thwarted that by getting on the loud pedal and putting him behind me. He stayed at my back bumper with my exaust blaring in his window untill he got off at the next exit. ------------------ KidNotch4793 1993 LX 5.0 Notchback Eddlebrock intake,K&N, 70mm,March Underdrive pullies, Jacobson ignition,Superchip, Borla,3:73's, Kenny Brown Subframe connectors, Hurst shifter, Centerforce, Saleen Wing, Cobra Badges. |
