Default civic vs. falcon vs. 65 fastback

I was pulling out of the tire shop to see a kid in a older falcon with good sounding exhaust hanging out his window . He was talking to a kid in a riced out civic in front of him. I got behind them to see if they were going to race. They took a right to a two lane road w/ a stop sign the falcon got next to the civic and I got in middle of the two lanes so I could get behind the one that got the best start. The civic hit it first( loud pipe) me and the falcon hit it about the same time we both spun a little . We both went around the civic before 35 40 mph . I move into the civic's lane and go around the falcon . I take it to around 100 mph and shut it down w/ 2 or 3 cars on the falcon and around 10 on the civic . We all stop at a stop sign the kid in the falcon asks "289"
I said "yea"
he said "me to"
the ricer was behind me reving his POS I just ignored it considering he just got spanked buy two of americas best
I turned left all the way home.
This tired old 289 is racking up a lot of kills .
I can't wait to see what the 347 will do .

My brother's got a 65' falcon w/ a 289 and a 4spd. The engine's got a lot of aluminum in it. He regularly revs it to 7500rpms. Falcons are sweet ***** rides.

Yea the old falcons are sweet. Are 65 fastbacks lighter I went around him rather easy. I thought I would have a better race on my hands.

I hope the ricers do get faster most are all show and no go sad really . The kid in the civic spent a lot of money on 5" tac , 5" fart pipe , a smaller wing but it was pianted , front spoiler painted and the type R emblems. Alot of money for speed parts. If these kids ever get their prioritys strait it could make things intresting. Ohwell 'til then we will have to stick to the chevy guys.
