Cool

Put some 4.56's and Nitto Drag Radials on the 96-98 Cobra and its bye-bye to any year GT with same mods.

3.27's are not the perfect gear for anything other than a paper weight. The DOHC has no torque down low, you need the biggest gears you can stand to get up in the RPMS.

At the track, I launch at 7600 rpms and never see below 4500 rpms the whole 1/4 mile.

Plain and simple, the fastest N/A GT that I know of runs 12.50's. He has every bolt-on you could think of plus SVO heads, SVO Intake and Regrinded Cams. I on the other hand have a bone-stock motor from TB to Oilpan and I am on the verge of 11's.

Mod for Mod, the Cobra will always win. What? Are you gonna try and race bone stock Cobra's all your life??? There aren't many stock Cobra's left in this world. Even if you beat him, that does not mean you will beat every Cobra.

I only wish I could show you naysayers how a Cobra is supposed to run. If you seen it with your own eyes, you would probably trade yours in. I bet I paid less money with all my mods + the Cobra that some average Joe did for a new GT. Talk about Cost Effectiveness!!!

Later, Jason
